It’s a rareity to have brunch with a friend, and practically unheard of to have a 4-hour brunch with one of my dearest. So we made it count.

From top to bottom:

  • Smoked salmon, herbed cheese, dill sprig
  • Whipped feta, crushed pistachios and honey
  • Browned brie, blackberry compote and basil

Thanks, The Grove Wine Bar! Also, they keep a basket of Andes mints at the hostess station. They were unfortunately guarded by staff, so my plan to hoist a handful failed.
